Tom is working with Children’s Aid to conduct an assessment of South Bronx Rising Together, a collective impact initiative to build pathways of success for children and youth from cradle through college and career. He is also supporting Johns Hopkins University’s Bloomberg Center for Public Innovation’s work to empower and train public servants with essential innovation skills by developing an Innovation Playbook that guides them from problem investigation to solution delivery, driving better results for local communities.

Tom brings a background in organizational transformation and capacity building in the public sector to his work with Bennett Midland. Tom engaged U.S. policymakers to increase national capacity to prevent and manage violent conflict with the United States Institute of Peace. Tom has also guided organizational transformation as a consultant to the Departments of Health and Human Services, Veterans Affairs, and Commerce.

Tom holds a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology with a concentration in Comparative Politics from the University of Maryland.
