Tanvi Punja


Tanvi works with Everytown for Gun Safety to implement the Gun Violence Data Fellowship program — a new initiative that embeds data analysts in local government to organize and interpret gun violence data for the benefit of city leaders and the public. She also supports the Bloomberg Philanthropies Innovation Teams Program.

Prior to joining Bennett Midland, Tanvi conducted data analysis and other research for the Urban Institute examining the efficacy of nonprofits and philanthropies. She also conducted research on the Indian education landscape during COVID-19 for the National Human Rights Commission of India. Tanvi previously served on waste management and agriculture campaigns with Greenpeace India. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Environmental Studies from Wesleyan University.
