Uthman Olagoke

Civic Innovation Fellow

Uthman is an accomplished practitioner in the civic sector with expertise in community engagement, strategic planning, program design and implementation, and performance management. He is trained in design- and systems-thinking with a focus on equity, economic mobility, and community resilience. Uthman has a decade of experience building the capacity of local governments and community-based organizations around data-driven, human-centered approaches to problem solving and service delivery. Previously, he served as Director of the Opportunity Accelerator program at Results for America, Lead Project Manager at the NYC Department of Housing Preservation & Development, and Program Manager at 100 Resilient Cities. Uthman holds a Bachelor’s degree in Government and Sociology from Dartmouth College and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Design Science at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
