Dan Casey

Communications Specialist

Dan is an urban planner with wide-ranging experience in policy research and communications. As a communications specialist at Bennett Midland, he helps organizations express their ideas with clear and effective storytelling.

Prior to joining Bennett Midland, Dan helped run the Centre for Social Innovation, a coworking space for nonprofits and social enterprises in Manhattan, and conducted fieldwork on urban sanitation and solid waste management in India. Previously, Dan carried out comparative research and policy analysis on local environmental performance in Canadian and American cities, and contributed to the 2005 Montreal Master Plan.

Dan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master’s degree in Urban Planning, both from McGill University.
