Andrew Herrera


Andrew provides research and analytical support for the Bloomberg Philanthropies’ Innovation Teams Program, an initiative to help cities solve their most pressing challenges.

Before joining Bennett Midland, Andrew worked at Griffin Dewatering, where he collaborated with local government officials to manage the permitting process for complex construction projects. He previously interned with the Orange County Department of Planning in Goshen, New York, where he researched national best practices for planning organizations to engage a diverse set of residents in major policy decisions. As an undergraduate, Andrew studied regional resilience planning and served as a project manager for an environmental assessment of a cleanup project in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey. Andrew graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey with a BA in Environmental Studies and a Minor in Public Policy.
